Studio Stove

It was a gray rainy Monday morning, I was on my way to the local DIY shop, to get some nails, when I discovered this stove, I fell for it, I just had to have it in my studio, I saw already the paintings it could play a part in, in my minds eye. So I asked a friend, who is an expert in fireplaces and such things, if he could install this stove for me. He did, fetched it yesterday afternoon, and had it installed, and today I was already able to use it, and to paint it.

Es war ein grauer verregneter Montag morgen, als ich auf dem weg zum Baumarkt war, um Nägel zu kaufen. Da stand auf einmal dieser kleine Werkstattofen, einfach wunderschön. Ich musste ihn haben, sah schon die Bilder vor mir in dem dieser Ofen im Hintergrund stehen könnte.... so fragte ich einen Freund, welcher ein Experte in Kaminen und dergleichen ist, ob er mir diesen Ofen anschliessen könnte. Gesagt getan, gestern bekam ich ihn, und heute funktionierte er schon, und ich konnte mit dem malen beginnen
