Lollipop

While waiting for my cappuccino this morning in one of the coffee shops on Friedrichstrasse, my attention was caught by some lollipops on the counter, wonderfully wrapped in cellophane, there was one with red stripes, one with white and one with green and red ones, again, I could not make up my mind which I liked most, so I took them all. Apparently I was somehow recognised by the lady behind the counter, asking me if I would paint them today, and I replied " yes, I just thought I would do that", "wonderful" she said, "here is your cappuccino, and the lollipops are on the house". Thank you !

Als ich heute morgen in einem Coffee Shop in der Friedrichstrasse auf meinen Cappuccino wartete fielen mir einige Lutscher auf dem Tresen auf, wunderschön in Zellophan eingewickelt, es gab einen mit roten Streifen, einen mit weissen und einen mit grünen und wieder roten Streifen. Ich konnte mich nicht entscheiden welcher mir am besten gefiel und so nahm ich sie alle. Anscheinend muss mich die Dame hinterm Tresen erkannt haben, denn sie fragte mich, ob ich die Lutscher denn heute malen werde und ich antwortete "ja, das habe ich mir gerade so gedacht", "Wunderbar" kam die Antwort von ihr, "hier ist Ihr Cappuccino und die Lollies sind aufs Haus." - Vielen herzlichen Dank.
